Welcome Toast & Keynote by Fawn Weaver | Uncle Nearest Premium Whiskey
Bourbon Women is thrilled to share Fawn Weaver, entrepreneur, philanthropist and co-founder, CEO and Chief Historian for Uncle Nearest Premium Whiskey - fastest growing whiskey brand - with 6th Annual SIPosium Conference attendees. Fawn’s success with public relations, hospitality and lifestyle brands profoundly changed how Weaver invested and managed her time and focus priming her perfectly for her next endeavour – Uncle Nearest Premium Whiskey. Fawn Weaver will kick-off the 2019 SIPosium with a unique Welcome Toast and Keynote Speaker messaging.

Weaver is the founder of the Nearest Green Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to shining a spotlight on the first African-American master distiller on record in the United States, the first master distiller for Jack Daniel’s, and the person who taught a young Jack Daniel how to make Tennessee Whiskey. What began as an idea for a book, quickly morphed into a dozen projects focused on honoring this long-forgotten story of Nathan “Nearest” Green. Among those projects are a book, movie, memorial park and a scholarship program for Green’s descendants. As mentioned, Weaver serves as CEO and Chief Historian for Uncle Nearest Premium Whiskey, a company wholly and independently owned by Uncle Nearest, Inc., in which Weaver is also co-founder and CEO.
